Iron Ridge Equestrian Center operates under a strict breeding program. Please make sure to abide by the rules which may be updated and/or changed at any given time. Please make sure to keep in mind that stable affiliates may have special breeding privileges.

RULES

-Be sure to book your breedings ahead of time. Each stallion has 20 slots for each year, so breedings are limited.

- Mare must be the same breed or similar. IREC will only approve horses that are purebred. Please ask if you are unsure.

- If your mare is bred to one of our Hanoverian stallions, the foal's name must begin with the same letter as the stud (i.e. an IREC Boomerang foal name must begin with "B").

- The same horse you are breeding to must not already exist in the mare/stallions lines. IREC does not support in-breeding.

- Slots may be limited. Pay attention to the status of the horse you wish to breed yours with.

- Prices and/or restrictions may change as the horse's rankings/show record improve. Check back here for the current prices/status; the horse's page may not always be up to date.

HOW TO REQUEST A BREEDING

1. Choose the horse that you would like to breed with from the list below. Make sure you have noted their breeding status.

2. If everything checks out (the horse is open or questionable and your horse qualifies), send me a note with the following information:

- Horse's Name:

- Horse's Breed:

- Reference Link:

- Stable Journal Link:

- Requested Stud:

3. I will get back to you as soon as possible. Do not start your breeding picture until/unless I give the OK. If the fee is points, I will design the foal as soon as I can as soon as I receive the fee. If the fee is a picture, I will design the foal as soon as I receive it. I will note you after a month without payment to see if you are still interested in the breeding or not. If you are no longer interested or are unable to pay the fee, please let me know.

4. Once the foal is designed, changes may not be made. Remember that affiliates may make requests before the foal is designed. The request might not necessarily happen, however.

5. The foal will only "exist" after you make their reference sheet. No premade lines, grayscales or photo-manipulations allowed. Please note me with the reference sheet once it is finished!
